Parish Ministry Opportunities:

Liturgical Ministries:

• Altar Server - Assist the priest and deacon in in leading the congregation in worship at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass each week.

• Lector - Proclaim the Word of God at liturgical celebrations.

• Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion - Assist at liturgies when needed, and bring the Eucharist to shut-ins and those in local care facilities.

• Cantor / Choir Member / Musician - Lend your voice or instrumental talent for Mass and liturgical devotions.

• Usher / Greeter - Be a friendly face and a helping hand for those who come to pray and to worship at Immaculate Conception.

Outreach Ministries:

• Hospital and Homebound Minister - Visit our elderly and sick parishioners who are confined to homes, hospitals, and skilled care facilities.  Bring them your presence and your prayer.

Grief Ministries:

• Funeral Luncheon Volunteer - Serve our grieving families after the funeral of a loved one.  Work the luncheon with a group of friendly volunteers or drop off a covered dish / dessert to be served!

• Prayer Leader - Offer to pray with families and for the departed souls at wake services or before funerals.
